About Us
Fastclerk was officially launched in 2005 our senior partner (Andy Fountain) after identifying a huge gap in the PDA applications market for small businesses who needed a simple-to-use solution to:
- Cut down on paperwork
- Improve efficiency
- Reduce operating costs
After many years in the Inventory Clerk business, Andy searched the market place for truly portable software that would meet the above criteria and soon found all the offerings fell well short of expectations. The biggest problems with existing applications were:
- Pricing structures that initially appeared cheap, but would soon escalate to a sizable percentage of operational costs when use increased.
- Many offerings were branded versions of the same product relying on outdated drop down tables... they may look great in a demo, but were far too complex and fiddly to be effectively used whilst walking around property!
Fastclerk was duly formed bringing together a team of like-minded people with a broad range of business, programming and development skills with a common goal... Develop a market leading product from the ground up.
Since our launch we have evolved our solutions to an exceptional level breaking new ground along the way. Many of our applications have been developed as a direct result of clients requesting a solution that simply did not exist before.
